Agandi Street

Angadi Street is a groundbreaking initiative by Taaka Lee Sdn Bhd, marking the company’s first initiative into the bustling world of bazaars. The debut of Angadi Street was an overwhelming success, not only in terms of sales and foot traffic but also in its ability to bring people together and empower local entrepreneurs.

The concept of Angadi Street has deep roots in the ‘We Grow Sama Sama’ project, which was launched during the challenging COVID-19 lockdown. Taaka Lee Sdn Bhd supported over 500 online traders, offering them free social media marketing and guidance to help promote their businesses without any charges. The success of this project earned the trust and loyalty of many traders, many of whom transitioned from online platforms to physical bazaars for the first time through Angadi Street.

Angadi Street quickly expanded to various locations, hosting events at prominent venues such as Midlands Convention Centre, Pearl Banquet Hall, and Terminal 1 Mall in Seremban. These events primarily targeted the Indian community, offering a wide array of products including traditional clothing, jewelry, food, and handicrafts. As the bazaar grew, it also began to attract visitors from across the Klang Valley, meeting the demand for diverse and culturally significant offerings. With every edition, Angadi Street continues in creating opportunities for local entrepreneurs while offering a unique shopping experience for Malaysians.
